Petronas, Baker Hughes join forces to support energy transition

Malaysian energy giant Petronas is to collaborate with US-based Baker Hughes in an effort to accelerate technological developments that support the energy transition.

Signed at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC) exhibition held on 13th November, the MoU follows on from a previous agreement signed by the partners in 2018.

Stating that its sustainability agenda encompasses ‘four lenses’: continued value creation, safeguard the environment, positive social impact and responsible governance, Datuk Tengku Taufik, President and Group CEO, Petronas, added, “The MoU maps out a spectrum of initiatives that support these lenses with a view to ultimate enable in delivering sustainable energy offerings.”

The ongoing ADIPEC event will continue until 18th November.
