On 11th January 2022, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) published the long overdue and much-awaited fourth revision of IS 3224 – Valve for Compressed Gas Cylinders excluding LPG cylinders – Specification, dealing with design requirements, type testing and production testing of gas cylinder valves.
