NEI sets up oxygen generation plant in Jaipur

Indian company National Engineering Industries Ltd. (NEI) has set up a new pressure swing adsorption (PSA) oxygen generation plant Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital in Jaipur, India, providing support to the country’s battle against Covid-19.

Inaugurated on the 24th October, the plant will supply patients at the hospital with an uninterrupted stream of high-purity oxygen. Capable of producing 750 litres per minute of oxygen, the plant will fill 160-170 oxygen cylinders daily.

The new plant development comes after NEI donated 100 oxygen concentrators to the Rajasthan Government earlier this year.

“We want to ensure that we are able to help the statement government in saving lives during critical situations,” said Rohit Saboo, President, CEO, NEI.

“Committed towards this fight against the pandemic, NEI has institutionalised an approach to enable a safe environment for its employees as well as communities.”
