Linde to construct ASUs for Samsung Electronics

Linde has signed a long-term industrial gas supply contract with Samsung Electronics.

As part of the agreement, Linde will build multiple air separation units (ASUs) for next-generation semiconductor manufacturing facilities at Samsung Electronics’ Pyeongtaek Campus and supply air separation gas of ultra-high purity.

The industrial gas giant said that once the new ASUs are completed according to the contract, the amount of gas to be supplied to the Pyeongtaek Campus will be the largest among global electronics/semiconductor customers on a single plant basis.

“Based on our partnership with Samsung Electronics which has been continued for more than 42 years, we will keep providing industrial gas with high security, credibility and cost-efficiency, along with innovative technologies,” he added.
