Linde Korea has sold its Pohang business site to PSG in a bid to promote management efficiency and synergy effect.

PSG will operate the site, which includes industrial gas and helium charging facility, as of 1st July.

Linde Korea acquired a 51% stake of PSG in June 2012 and has been operating the company under a joint representative system.

Linde Korea Chairman Seong Baek-seok commented, “We came to decide to sell our Pohang business site this time in order to more strongly concentrate our capacity on our main business in this situation where management strategy of selection and concentration for sustainable growth plays an important role.”

“From now on, we will attempt to develop our foundation for sustainable growth in the relevant market segments through PSG.”
