Hangzhou Oxygen’s first semiconductor gas supply project to be operational this year

Hangzhou Oxygen’s first semiconductor gas supply project is planned to be put into operation this year.

According to Gas Ecosphere, the company reached a gas supply cooperation with Xinen (Qingdao) Integrated Circuit, also known as Quingdao Xinen, in 2019.

Under the 15-year agreement, Hangzhou Oxygen will construct and operate a 20,0003/h pure nitrogen air separation plant to supply Qingdao Xinen with high purity nitrogen, general nitrogen, high purity oxygen, high purity argon, hydrogen and high purity helium.

Jiang Ming, Hangzhou Oxygen’s Chairman, said the project has been lagging behind due to Covid-19, but production is planned to start within this year.

Before the construction of the gas supply project, Hangzhou Oxygen will comprehensively consider the development potential of the region and increase a certain capacity to ensure that there is still a capacity surplus after meeting the needs of existing customers, so as to gradually reduce dependence on a single enterprise.
