A foundation ceremony has been held for the R&D industrialisation base project of Tianjin Linggas Co., Ltd, a mega electronics specialty gases production project.
The project is located in Nangang Industrial Zone, Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone, with an annual output of 6,000 tonnes and 47 kinds of electronics specialty gas products serving high-end fields such as the semiconductor integrated circuit, photovoltaic and optical fibre sectors.
The total construction investment of the project is around RMB 320m ($45m), which is planned to be completed by March 2021.

According to Ma Jianxiu, General Manager of Tianjin Linggas Co., Ltd., the key electronics specialty gas in the R&D and production of the project mainly solves the material constraints in the advanced manufacturing process of China’s VLSI, and provides an important guarantee for the national integrated circuit supporting new material industry.
